Since I became a PADI OWSI in 2010 my goal has been to bring people together and let people experience something new. I am the owner of PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Resort ‘Sea Spirit Diving Resort’ (S-23630) which I founded in 2012. Already for 6 years now, I have seen thousands of customers coming through the doors of Sea Spirit Diving Resort. Starting as strangers to each other in the morning, ending up as friends in the evening. I have seen people that did the PADI Open Water Diver Course with me, came back for their continued education, spent months with me towards their PADI Divemaster rating and I ended up guiding them through the IDC, becoming a PADI Instructor and seeing them getting the MSDT rating by certifying students at Sea Spirit. This job is truly rewarding and I have seen several people, changing their lives and vision, just because of diving education, spending time at the sea and under water with me and joining our culture of diving professionals at Sea Spirit.

My career began as a PADI Dive Master in Mediterranean waters of the Ionian coast of Taormina acquiring a perfect knowledge of guiding dives and everything that involves being a good Dive Master. Later, I became a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor at one of the most famous diving schools in the world: Prodive Cairns, in Queensland, Australia. I have built up experience working as an instructor since 2010 at Ocean Freedom/Ocean Free, on the Great Barrier Reef north of Cairns Queensland (AU), in one of the world’s biggest natural sites as well as the largest barrier reef in the world.

Then I developed myself into a PADI IDC Staff Instructor with Buddha View Dive Resort with Mark Soworka, in Koh Tao – Thailand. On the IDCs in Koh Tao (2014, 2015) I translated from English to Italian for the Italian participants and during the IDCs with Mark in Sicily (2016, 2017) I took care of the whole course for the Italian participants, team teaching with Mark Soworka but also teaching independently, doing the lectures in Italian on my own. At the same time, in 2014, I grew into the level of PADI Master Instructor in Koh Tao and gained a lot of experience how to teach at Instructor Development Courses (IDC). Through all this experience, I reached a new level of education and a way of working focused on customers and their needs.

In 2015, Sea Spirit Diving Resort became a PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Resort and me and Mark Soworka decided to bring our experience in Europe by organizing the first international PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) in Sicily and founded Dive-Craeers Europe. I’m part of an international network and Sea Spirit is an unique diving resort where we have created the first international IDC fully taught in English in 2015. For this achievement we got two PADI Awards during the EUDI Show 2016 and 2018 in Bologna. I’m really proud to be a PADI Course Director now and teach dive professionals what I love.

Da quando sono diventato un Istruttore subacqueo PADI nel 2010, il mio obiettivo è stato quello di riunire le persone e fargli provare qualcosa di nuovo, scoprendo il meraviglioso mondo sottomarino . Sono il proprietario del PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Resort 'Sea Spirit Diving Resort' (S-23630) che ho fondato nel 2012. Da 6 anni vedo migliaia di clienti salire sulle nostre imbarcazioni e visitare il nostro ufficio . Molte di queste persone erano estranee al mattino e finivano per diventare amici dopo una meravigliosa giornata di immersioni. Ho visto persone frequentare il corso PADI Open Water Diver, tornando dopo poco tempo per la loro formazione continua, e addirittura raggiungere dopo qualche mese il livello di PADI Divemaster , per poi diventare, guidati attraverso l'IDC, istruttori subacquei PADI . Molti di loro sono diventati MSDT certificando a loro volta studenti anche presso il nostro centro e lavorando con me personalmente e tutto il mio staff . Questo lavoro è davvero gratificante; ti offre l’opportunità di cambiare vita e visione del mondo , esplorando l’universo subacqueo… è un qualcosa di incredibile! Credo che trascorrere del tempo in mare e sott’acqua ti permetta di unirti alla natura e alle culture locali dei luoghi unici in cui come professionisti subacquei abbiamo l’opportunità di poter vivere e lavorare !!! La mia carriera è iniziata come PADI Dive Master nelle acque del Mediterraneo della costa ionica Siciliana di Taormina; lì ho acquisito una perfetta conoscenza delle immersioni guidate e di tutto ciò che implica essere un buon Dive Master . Più tardi, sono diventato un istruttore PADI in una delle più famose scuole di immersioni al mondo: Prodive Cairns, nel Queensland, in Australia. Ho fatto esperienza lavorando come istruttore dal 2010 con Ocean Freedom / Ocean Free, sulla Grande Barriera Corallina a nord di Cairns Queensland (AU), in uno dei più grandi siti naturali del mondo; si tratta della più grande barriera corallina del pianeta!

In seguito ho sviluppato la mia conoscenza nell’ambito della formazione istruttori diventando IDC Staff presso il Buddha View Dive Resort con Mark Soworka, Koh Tao - Tailandia. Negli IDC di Koh Tao (2014, 2015) fungevo da interprete .Durante gli IDC con Mark in Sicilia (2016, 2017) mi sono occupato dell'intero corso per i nostri candidati italiani, insegnando con lui e anche in modo indipendente. Sempre nel 2014, sono cresciuto professionalmente raggiungendo il livello di Master Instructor PADI sempre presso Koh Tao , acquisendo diverse competenze nell’ insegnare i corsi di sviluppo istruttori (IDC). Attraverso tale esperienza, ho raggiunto un nuova consapevolezza e un modo di lavorare focalizzato sul cliente e sulle sue esigenze.

Nel 2015, Sea Spirit Diving Resort è diventato un Padi 5 star IDC Dive Resort e io e Mark Soworka decidemmo di portare la nostra esperienza in Europa organizzando il primo corso internazionale per istruttori PADI (IDC) in Sicilia e in seguito fondando dive-careers-europe.com . Faccio parte di una rete internazionale in quanto il Sea Spirit Diving Resort si trova in una località straordinaria e unica per le immersioni al punto che i nostri candidati istruttori arrivano da tutte le parti del mondo. Per tale traguardo siamo stati premiati da PADI EMEA durante l'EUDI Show(EUROPEAN DIVE SHOW ) 2016 e 2018 di Bologna-IT. Sono davvero orgoglioso di essere diventato un direttore di corso PADI e di poter guidare i mie allievi nel mondo della subacquea professionale facendo ciò che amo!!!
