Gili Air is a 10 minute boat ride from Bangsal (Mainland Lombok), which is a 2-hour drive from Lombok’s international airport. Bangsal is the public harboUr for the Gili Islands and boats run until 4pm. The boats will depart when full so you could wait anything from 10 minutes to two hours for the boat to depart and have a rate of Rp 35.000. There are also "public" speedboats avaialable which leave every hour on the hour, these have a rate of Rp 85.000.
Lombok international airport (LOP) is served by many domestic hubs as well as international flights from Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. Gili Air is also accessible from Amed, East Bali by fast boat taking one hour. Other connections from Bali include fast boats from Sanur, Nusa Lembongan and Padang Bai.
Its easy to get to Lombok from Bali – the flight time is only around 30 minutes and fares start from around Rp350,000 one way. Buy tickets direct from the airline counters at the domestic airports, or contact local travel agents in both Bali and Lombok.
Lombok international airport (BIL or IATA code LOP) is the only airport in Lombok. The airport is close to Praya (Central Lombok), approximately 1.5 hrs drive from Senggigi, and 25 minutes from Kuta Lombok.
Padang bali Harbour (Bali) provides the sea link between mainland Bali and Lombok and this is where the public ferry embarks. Lembar Harbour (Lombok) is on the southwest coast and approx. 1.5 hours from Senggigi, 2.5hr from Bangsal. Arrange your own transport and buy tickets direct from the harbours, or use a reputable tour company to provide a transfer service.

There are quite a few speedboats frequenting the route Bali-Lombok such as the Scoot Cruise as well as the Marina Srikandi. They can be booked online with the speedboat operators, or at one of the many tourist info counters offering transfers. Both these services offer a pick up service from hotels in the south of Bali to Padang Bai.
