Equipment Technician
The Equipment Technician course runs over 2 days and is designed to give the students all the knowledge and skills required to service the Aqualung range of equipment. This includes the calypso unbalanced regulator, Titan balanced regulator, Legend over balanced regulator, inflator units and BCD repair. The students will be shown the simplest and most practical methods of servicing the equipment exactly as they would come across the regulators in a busy dive shop environment.
Compressor Operator
The Compressor Operator course runs over 1 day and teaches the students the correct start up, filling and shut down procedures when operating a compressor. The students will also be taught simple compressor maintenance like oil and filter changes. By the end of the course the students will be comfortable operating a
compressor and if continuing onto the blending course will be able to use a membrane system.
Nitrox Blender
The Nitrox Blender runs over 1 day and teaches the students to accurately and safely blend nitrox to the required blend. The main section of the course covers partial pressure blending which is the most common form of blending found around the world. For students who have already completed the compressor operatorcourse, they will also be taught how to fill a tank using a membrane system.
This course gives you the skills and knowledge to really be successful as a dive resort owner or manager.
