If you are an active Dive Master and have been contemplating pursuing your IDC, then here is a sign! Alan Chai, fro Kuala Lumpur, was a part of our IDC batch in KhaoLak, Thailand, earlier this year. Here's a glimpse into his IDC experience with Dive-Careers, in his words:
"It is a very good training ground with own swimming pool that u can practice anytime when you are free. If you don have your own gear u able to use the shop gear without charges, but I strongly recommend to use your own gear because u have to teach with is. They provide eLearning comes in the pen drive but you must to have your own laptop. Few things that to remind you to have before you start your IDC are own SMB, underwater compass, whistle, dive knife, Rope to teach underwater knot at least 2, snorkel. With all these preparation you don’t have to stress yourself to get it and pay extra for it. If you would like to work at KSA after the IDC make sure you prepare your working permit before you come rather than pay extra to get out from the country to get it done. Overall it is a good experience."

A. My theory, because not very good in theory.
